To be sure, it’s a croc!
Belfast is getting a taste of down under with crocodile and kangaroo additions to the menu of the city’s MORNING STAR restaurant. In Ireland these are considered to be pretty exotic foods.
However, the restaurants Australian owner Corinne McAllister, who is importing the meat, is used to controversy. She previously shocked regulars with ostrich steaks.
“I know there will be a lot of gasps when they see the menu, but people will try it,” she said. Ms McAllister admits some customers may be a little put off with the idea of dining on a piece of Skippy or one of Crocodile Dundee’s mates.

Northern Ireland Tourism Rewarded
One of Belfast’s oldest pubs, the Morning Star in Pottinger’s Entry, the first pub in the annual British Airways Tourism Awards to receive an award.
There was a record number of entries from this year from projects and initiatives across the province, further confirming the renewed hope and optimism which the tourist industry is currently experiencing.
